With 30 years in the making, TEDD is a culmination of experience working with all ages, chronic pain, post-rehab injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke and other neurological disorders; training professional athletes in all sports, as well as high school and college blue-chip athletes. We have built a successful business founded in the philosophy of guiding each client through their journey as they achieve their goals.

TEDD has extensive knowledge and experience in sports training. In the early 90’s he helped run one of the first pre-combine NFL training camps, and worked directly with strength coaches from top schools like Nebraska, USC, and Stanford in re-designing their programs and overall how they trained their athletes. Because of his unique background, TEDD knows how to recognize dysfunctional movements and how to alleviate injuries before they occur.

TEDD is designed to bring world-class, cutting-edge corrective performance exercise and functional dynamic movement-based training to Mammoth Lakes. We are building a training center like no other to provide our highly active community and visiting athletes the training platform needed and desired on the Eastside. Come join us!

ABOUT TEDD:

TEDD is a corrective restorative exercise program designed to address musculoskeletal and neurological limitations, dysfunctions and compensations to restore balance and symmetry to the body. Many of our clients come to us with chronic pain. They have tried other avenues with no success and are looking to this program as their last chance before having surgery; and in some cases looking for relief after a non-successful surgery. We also have many clients without pain but who understand that they are dysfunctional and simply want to improve their performance in life and maintain their youthful function.

This program works for everyone and is especially beneficial as we age. A solid postural foundation is key but as a society our posture is worse now than any time in human history. We spend most of the day sitting and staring at small screens slowly eroding away our balanced foundation. People in their 30s are now suffering postural dysfunction and pain that has historically been associated with older adults.

Pain or no pain you should be doing this program to repair existing imbalances, prevent future dysfunctions and overall preserve your youthful life style.

Since the majority of people who start the TEDD program are in pain we will focus on that aspect of the program.

Everyone’s pain experience is unique to them and the journey to chronic pain is never a direct route. It is a combination of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and compensations as well as a compromised nervous system. The pain you are currently experiencing is often the result of a series of events over the years that lead to your challenges of today. Remember, pain is your body’s way of telling you that something isn’t quite right.

If your body has lost its designed posture, it does not move and function efficiently and effortlessly as it was intended to and you will eventually experience pain. The body has an amazing ability to heal if it is given the appropriate biomechanical and neurological stimulus to relieve the triggers causing the stress and pain. By reintroducing proper movement, mechanics and static posture to the body, pain will fade away.

At TEDD we understand that each person and their pain is distinctive, so our program is personalized for each of our clients. We design a restorative exercise program with strategic corrective exercises that reduce stress and encourage movement; all determined by each client and their needs. It is important to remember that your body did not become dysfunctional overnight, so it will take some time to reverse. But participating in the TEDD program is the most effective way to affect positive changes to create a strong structural foundation to live a pain-free, active life.
